Be Fit. Be Well speaker

Our Year 3-6 students were fortunate to have one of the VIS (Victorian Institute of Sport) speakers visit our school – Stacey Hymer – who is a two-time National champion (gold medal winner) for Taekwondo in 2022 and 2023 as well as many other accomplishments.

Stacey highlighted her session with stories about her performance and willingness to succeed at international level, having previously competed at the Tokyo Olympics. This gave our students an opportunity to link in with an elite athlete and highlight the importance of consistency, dedication, perseverance and a willingness to succeed. Thank you Stacey and best of luck for your upcoming tournament!
