TRIBE Athletics

The Junior (F-2) and Senior (3-6) athletics were held on the school oval today, with a lot of fun competition had by the children. They competed in a range of running events: 100m, 200m, 400m and 100m hurdles as well as a few field events: discus and shot put.

At the completion of each athletics, students were presented with ribbons to celebrate their achievements in each event withing their own age group.

Year 3-6 children may have the opportunity to compete at Division Athletics on Friday 26^th August after reviewing times and measurements for each event. More information will be distributed in the coming weeks.

It was fantastic to see so many of our students dressed in their TRIBE colours today. Thank you to Mrs Phillips for her organisation and our staff and volunteers for their efforts today. Without these fantastic people supporting our students these events would be very difficult to organise and run.
