40 HOUR FAMINE

I decided to do the 40 hour famine this year and have it very well!!! I chose to not speak for 40 hours straight. it was really hard for a few hours but after a while I got used to it. I may have spoken few words in those 40 hours but they just slipped out of my mouth!! I have raised $185. It didn't take long to get sponsors and most of them were from relatives and family friends. I had fun doing the 40 hr famine. It was good to know I was helping people while having fun. My sister Tiani did it as well and she found it harder than I did!!. I hope I can do it again soon.!!

MELBOURNE MARKET FRESH

On the 22nd of July the Preps, 1s and 2s had an incursion from caroline and Tisha. they work at Merket Fresh in Footscray, Victoria.

Market Fresh is a huge factory outlet of fruit and vegetables that is only open to shopkeepers and business owners.

Some facts about fruit are -

bananas are actually a herb.

bananas are creamier frozen.

bananas are tastier when they have marks on their skin.

The market is enormous as it has eight gates for huge trucks to enter the market.

When we asked the Prep, 1s and 2s if they enjoyed the delicious fruit and vegetables they were too busy eating and could only get out "very, very good."

Bastille Day

When we went to the High School I really enjoyed the choir performing. Eshu was really good at her solo. I liked watching the croissant eating competition and the leap frog competition. The year twelve dancers performed the can can, it was very entertaining.

THE INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD

The Interactive Whiteboard is so nice. I’m so lucky. Mrs Moroney doesn’t use the Interactive whiteboard all the time. The whole grade does. Everyone is so excited. We use it for Mioow testing and information about all types of creatures. We play games using the Interactive Multimedia. Mrs Moroney has a special helper. The helper sets up the Mimio and the projector,
What’s your favourite game on the multimedia?
If you bump the projector Mrs Moroney will get mad. The Interactive whiteboard is connected with a laptop and then it turns into a computer. It’s amazing! Do you know how it turns into a computer screen?
I’m so excited to write my Mioow test again. You get this mouse and you click on things and you have to be very gentle.


Two weeks ago we had to be in partners. We had to get into multimedia and search for pictures. The Interactive whiteboard is fun!

Two weeks ago the used the Electronic Whiteboard. It was fun and I felt good. Yes! It was the best day of my life. It was fun!

I was so happy that we had the Electronic Whiteboard. Are you happy that we have the Electronic Whiteboard? We didn’t know that we were going to have Electronic Whiteboard.


Today I used the Electronic Whiteboard for my Mioow words and I passed my test. I am now on Aqua Level words. Are you on Aqua yet?


I used the Electronic Whiteboard when I did my Mioow words. I like the Electronic Whiteboard. It is fun!


Only three grades? Yes! Only three grades got the Electronic Whiteboards. We were one of them. It’s very fun! If we bump it, then Mrs Moroney has to recalibrate it. The Electronic Whiteboard is not really an Electronic Whiteboard. The projector is what makes the stuff on it appear.


I am looking forward to writing my words on the Interactive Electronic Whiteboard. Every time you bump it you have to recalibrate it. The whole class got to write their names on the Electronic Whiteboard. Mrs M has to have her laptop with her. The whole grade got to use the Mimio. Mostly we use the notebook. Mrs M chose me as The Pupil of the Week because I helped the grade with the Interactive Whiteboard.

I am excited to write my words on it. I wonder what the new projector poles will look like.

When I first used the Electronic Whiteboard it was heaps of fun but also hard. Soon I was getting good at it and found out something on the Multimedia Game called Spin.

I am lucky to have an Electronic Whiteboard in our class. It is totally awesome. Today we wrote Mioow words on it. Mrs Moroney showed us some photos. I have used multimedia and I have inserted some pictures.


I am looking forward to going on Multimedia. We are so lucky because some grades do not have an Electronic Whiteboard. Mrs Moroney showed us photos of her house and of when we were at Assembly.


The Electronic Whiteboard has a Mimio. We know lots about it. Everybody likes the Electronic Whiteboard. You can write on it and it turns into computer writing.


I am looking forward to using the Electronic Whiteboard with Multimedia and not bumping it because then we have to recalibrate it. The Electronic Whiteboard is not just Mrs M’s, it’s ours too.

In our grade we were lucky enough to get an Electronic Whiteboard. The first time I used it I had to write my name. If you bump it Mrs M has to recalibrate it. When we do Mioow testing on the Electronic Whiteboard we have to go to the notebook to do it. If you try to use it without a laptop it won’t work. The first time I heard that we were getting an Electronic Whiteboard I was really excited.


When I used the Electronic Whiteboard I was so excited that I couldn’t wait to use it. I was the 2nd person to do pictures. I inserted 6 pictures. When I used Multimedia, i had a partner.

I am really happy that 1/2M is one of the grades that have an Electronic Whiteboard. I had been on Multimedia. Everyone in our grade gets to use it. If you bump it Mrs Moroney has to recalibrate it. I am really looking forward to writing my 200 words on the Electronic Whiteboard. I like using the Mimio. It printed but I couldn’t see the chick and rabbit. On Multimedia I played the keyboard and the only song we could play was Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. We played Coin Flip. My partner went for Heads and I went for Tails. I got the most points. In the Spinner Game we each went for a colour. I went for red and my partnerwent for white. she got the most spins. It was really fun.
