Christian religious education is a 30 minute weekly program for Prep to Year 6 taught in the classroom. CRE teachers representing the Christian churches are approved by the Minister for Education, police checked, screened and accredited through the Council for Christian Education in Schools.(CCES). CRE complements the state school curriculum and uses an agreed syllabus published by CCES. the training program for CRE teachers is constantly updated to reflect best practice in contemporary education. you have the right to withdraw your child from the program.

CRE gives the students the opportunity to explore Christian beliefs and values which will provide strong foundations for life.

Students will:

  • Think about their life experiences and how they connect with others.
  • learn about Christian beliefs which have helped to shape Australia's culture
  • Discuss life's big questions
  • Explore personal values and choices
  • value and respect their own and other's beliefs.
